In 1987 the Tailman family bought a pair of bunk beds for their children. Once the beds were purchased odd things began to happen around their Wisconsin home. The family mentioned that they would have radios turn on by themselves, doors opening on their own and disembodied voices. The children saw an old woman who had long hair and fiery eyes. The family called a pastor to bless the house as he claimed that the devil was present, however things did not get better. Allen Tailman saw a figure who said “You’re dead!” In the months following the media began to harass the family and claims of blood leaking from the ceiling and that the house was a portal to hell. The sensationalized version of the story brought the family unwanted attention including a drunk man with a bible intending to preform an exorcism and threats of arson. The family eventually left and moved to another house where they had no activity.

This photo shows what appears to be handprints all over the ceiling of a room. The uploader describes that the ceiling is covered in handprints which are best seen when a light is shone on them. The uploader explains that various paranormal events have occurred in their home, such as cabinets opening and closing and the bed shaking. The handprints look like they belong to an entity with long fingers, or someone who smeared their fingers across the ceiling. The uploader swears that they have no logical explanation for the prints.

“Is heaven real?” I asked.

“Yes,” he replied, his voice like dying embers in a fireplace, “and so is hell.”

“Who goes to heaven?”

Imagination Land

scary-stories:

I’ve been able to read minds since I was a child. It’s not really like how you see in the movies, though. It’s not like listening to the radio. It’s much more immersive. I experience everything as if I’m really there. It’s a thrilling experience when you read the right minds. The trouble is really with finding minds worth reading.

Frankly, reading adults is as fun as doing taxes. Kids’ minds, on the other hand, are amazing. They’re not bogged down with work and stress and dissatisfaction. The mind of a child is filled with imagination and adventure. That’s why I became a kindergarten teacher.
